Busy Saturday

Lots to do today! We went to Shelby's baby shower. She got lots of cute little things. It's getting closer to meet little baby Karter. She's so excited!



We are leaving for Florida tomorrow, so I had to finish up all the packing. We are excited. But we are kind of sad that Dean doesn't get to go with us this time. He has school. So we will just have to plan another trip when he can go!

Dinner and a Movie

We took the kids to see Toy Story 3 and to dinner tonight. Sophia got to stay with Mamaw and Gampa. The movie was cute. I cried at the end. I was trying to look around and see if anyone else was! But that's okay, you will see what I'm talking about when you watch it.

At dinner we surprised Connor. His birthday is next week (gulp, He is growing up way too fast) So he was kind of clueless when the folks came singing. It was cute.

Evening at MeMe's

We enjoyed the evening out at MeMe's tonight. We had a yummy dinner and the kids played around outside.
Madison got to check out her car...

Wordless Wednesday

Sophia's first haircut

Okay,I talked myself into getting Sophia's hair 'trimmed' for the first time. Here is a before shot...



She was not a happy camper when I told her we were going to get her hair cut. I mean she really threw a fit, big time. I called Dean and got him to come with me. BUT then she totally surprised me. When we got there she was so still and quiet. She was a perfect angel!

Father's Day

I wanted to wish my dad a very Happy Father's Day today! I love him very much! He means the world to me!
And my kids wished their dad a very Happy Father's Day today too! I'm so thankful my children have a dad who loves spending time with them and is setting a good example for them.
We spent the day together with some of our family at a cookout. It was great spending time with everyone.

What a great Big Sister!

Sophia has just started to like the little baby pool. Usually she doesn't want to get near the water. One step at a time I guess. Madison played out with her today. Sophia loves her 'sister' as she calls her sometimes. Madison said "Only for you Sophia."

School's Out!

WooHoo!!! School is out for the summer! I'm so excited. I've been waiting for this day! I just love SUMMERTIME!!! There are so many reasons why. I get to spend lots of extra time with my family. We are not so rushed and it's so nice to stay up late and get to sleep in just a little in the mornings...anything past 6 is good! I'm looking forward to some trips, pool time, the beach, and some lazy relaxing days.
Here is my new third grader!! I can't believe it. And I will have a seventh and tenth grader!!

And I want to wish my sisters a very Happy Birthday! Love you both!

Cute little piggies

The other night I painted Sophia's toes. She loves to have this done. I did it right before she went to bed. When I put her down she did not want me to cover up her toes. So I didn't, we left them out. When I went to check on her before I went to bed this is what I found...

She had fallen asleep with those little feet outside the blanket. She didn't want to mess those toes up! Precious!
