Today has been so nice! We started our day out at Great Bridge West this morning. We had a guest speaker from the 'big church.' He really did a great job. He talked about God stretching us. Sometimes we want to stay in our comfort zone. But we need to look beyond that comfort! Sometimes we need to be uncomfortable! Some points that he made today that stood out are ....Everyone has their own struggles. I mean who doesn't, right? So we need to encourage others through our own testimony. Sometimes we might think that God is calling us to something kind of crazy and we might not really agree. But he is wanting to stretch us. And sometimes it can be a little uncomfortable. We have to keep pressing through the obstacles! And we can't let the enemy steal our worship! Our worship is so very important!
So then after church we spent the afternoon at little Gannon's first birthday party. The kids had a blast playing in the slip-in-slide, the pool, riding the Gator, riding in the wagon and rock climbing to mention a few! I couldn't find my little camera before the party. I think Sophie has picked it up! So I had to take pictures with my phone.
Then we came home and spent the evening out in the yard.

He tried it with the harness first. Then he figured out he could do it without the harness! It was making me a little nervous, because he would get to the top and do a little dance!

They made it to the top! Actually, Braeden had already been to the top several times. He's a little monkey!
Sophie loved Gannon's new car. I think she might have to get one!
Braeden thought playing in the mud would be fun!
