Day at the Museum

Our day started bright and early yesterday morning for a family field trip! Oh, how I didn't want to get up so early on a day off but it was worth it. We went to Washington D.C. The day was just beautiful. My boys had never been and they were so excited. Dean was working so we had two guests with us...my Dad and Madison's friend Nathan. Our main goal was to tour the Smithsonian. We went to the Museum of Natural History and the Museum of American History. Braeden wanted to see the dinosaur bones. When we finally walked into that room the look on his face was priceless. He loved it!
We also went to the Monument and the Lincoln Memorial. Boy was that a lot of walking! Gampa was on a roll, I could hardly keep up with him!
We created some great memories. And of course I documented them in photographs. Here are some pieces of our day...

Seems like yall had a great day! Did you see the Obama's??? I'm glad Connor got to go somewhere since the 5th grade won't be going anywhere!! Loved the pics!!
